Trackara (a service of Commoner Apps LLC) passes your service request to independent mobile mechanics who cover your area. Trackara does not perform repairs, is not a party to any agreement between you and a mechanic, and does not guarantee a mechanic will be available.
Mechanics who are offered your request see your vehicle, the problem you described, your photos and your general area (city and ZIP). Your name, phone number, email and street address are shared only with the one mechanic who accepts. We use your email to send you your request link and updates. We don't sell your information.
Before a mechanic receives requests, Trackara checks that they have given us current liability insurance and the credentials they list. That check is not a guarantee of their work. You agree the price, schedule and scope directly with the mechanic, who quotes before starting.
Only customers whose request was completed through Trackara can review that mechanic, once per job. Reviews must be honest and about the service. We may hide reviews that are abusive, off-topic or fraudulent.
Sending a request is free. You pay the mechanic for their work under the terms you agree with them.
